El Paso – guest post by Mom

Oskar has a lot of blogs to catch up on so Mom is helping him out on this one. He sets a high bar!! We were all glad to be out of the car for a while:

We slept in a beautiful campground in the Franklin Mountain State Park, just outside of El Paso. You could see for miles and there were beautiful sunsets.

In the morning we headed towards El Paso and got to have some good views into Mexico. In the city we enjoyed hearing Spanish again!

Here are some fun shots of downtown El Paso:

We all agreed El Paso could be a fun place to live, although it might be a bit too dry! We headed north to keep exploring and found another beautiful campground called Aguirre Springs. We had a windy stay and are glad that our night-time visitor kept his wind to himself!!!
